1. Introduction

ShowMyFeed ("we", "us", or "our") is operated by SVK Media s.r.o., a limited liability company registered in the Slovak Republic at Zadunajská cesta 3999/16, 851 01 Bratislava, Company ID (IČO): 46083430, VAT ID: SK2023226865. SVK Media s.r.o. is the data controller within the meaning of Article 4(7) of EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) for the personal data described in this policy.

This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it.

2. Data We Collect

We collect the following personal data:

• Account data: name, email address, and password (hashed) when you register
• Instagram data: your Instagram username, account type, profile picture URL, and media — accessed via Meta Graph API with your explicit authorization
• Billing data: payment information processed and stored by Stripe (we never store raw card numbers)
• Contact data: name, email, and message when you use our contact form
• Usage data: server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and performance purposes

3. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data on the following legal bases:

• Contract performance: to provide the Service you signed up for
• Legitimate interests: to ensure security and improve the Service
• Consent: for contact form submissions and optional communications
• Legal obligation: to comply with applicable laws

4. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and operate the Service (embed widgets, API feeds)
• To process payments and manage your subscription
• To respond to your inquiries and support requests
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, billing receipts)
• To ensure the security and integrity of the Service

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Stripe — for payment processing (subject to Stripe's privacy policy)
• Meta (Instagram) — for OAuth authorization and media retrieval
• Hosting providers — for server infrastructure (data processed within the EU)

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, we delete personal data within 30 days, except where longer retention is required by law. Server logs are retained for 90 days.

7. Your Rights

Under GDPR and applicable data protection law, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Object to or restrict processing
• Data portability
• Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing)

8. Instagram Data Deletion

You can remove your Instagram data from ShowMyFeed in two ways:

• In-app: open your Dashboard and click "Disconnect" on any Instagram account. This immediately deletes the stored access token, cached media, profile picture, and widget configuration for that account.
• From Instagram: visit your Instagram Settings → Apps and Websites and remove ShowMyFeed. Instagram will notify us automatically, and we will delete all data associated with your Instagram user ID. You will receive a confirmation code and may verify the deletion status at the URL we return to Meta.

Account-wide deletion (including your ShowMyFeed login, billing history, and contact submissions) is performed via Profile → Delete Account.

9. Cookies

We use session cookies required for authentication. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies. Your browser settings allow you to manage or disable cookies.

10. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, and encrypted access tokens. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on our website.
